Pamela Mostek

Fabulous fabrics are the most exciting part of the quilt to designer Pamela Mostek. Whether she's designing quilts for publication or creating one of her dramatic art quilts, it's all about the fabrics and colors! After teaching high school art for 15 years, Pam decided to make quilting her full-time career. This background in education makes her a natural for teaching quilting classes. Pam loves the enthusiasm and sense of excitement quilters bring to class and also enjoys learning from them. Pamela is the author of six quilting books published by Martingale and Co (That Patchwork Place). She also publishes patterns and booklets through her own design company, Making Lemonade Designs, and teaches throughout the country. Her unique art quilts have been included in a number of national shows. Pam lives in Cheney, Washington, with her husband and has two daughters - who naturally inherited her love of quilting. She's also the very proud grandmother of four.
