Marianne Elizabeth

Marianne Elizabeth has been designing fabric for over a decade. She also runs a successful pattern company and online quilt store, Classically Home. Marianne is known for beautiful, fresh-picked, romantic florals. She studies vintage French fabrics from the 19th century, specifically damasks and florals. She then infuses her love of plants and gardening to create contemporary prints rooted in tradition. Marianne is also known for her use of color. "I use very rich, saturated colors that are alive, have depth, and sparkle," she explains. The result is a unique style that is sophisticated yet approachable, "casual elegance".

Within each colorway of Marianne Elizabeth's collections, she includes a floral, damask, companion border print, and quilt back. This gives quilters everything they need for a complete bedroom ensemble. Marianne sees it as her job as a designer to promote creativity, by showing different ways to use the same product, and let quilters make it their own in the process.
